Physician - OB/GYN

Description

Gifford Health Care, in Randolph, VT,  an FQHC, along with Gifford Medical Center, a Critical Access Hospital is seeking a well-rounded  BC/BE OB/GYN Physician.   This position consists of three clinical days and 1:3 call.

Gifford is a full-service hospital with a 24-hour emergency department, inpatient and rehabilitation units, a day care, an adult day care, an award-winning nursing home / retirement community and a renowned Birthing Center. This year we fully renovated our outpatient ob/gyn midwifery clinic and moved it into an area adjacent to the birthing center, easily accessed by one of our hospital entrances. This new space is bright and open. The rooms are very large to accommodate family members.

More than 200 births are performed annually in our renowned birthing center.  Established in 1977, the Birthing Center was the first in New England to offer an alternative to the traditional hospital-based delivery and continues to be a leader in family-centered care. 

Located in Central VT it provides the perfect combination of family-centered care and advanced technology. We are located just a half-hour from the state capital and less than an hour from some of the Northeast’s top ski areas.
