Job Title: Staff Optical Engineer Reports To: VP of Engineering Department: Advanced Research Center Location: San Jose, CA
Job Summary As one of the key team members, this position will play the key role of creating groundbreaking concepts in advanced sequencing technology and next generation technologies for multi-omics tools. You will work closely with talented multidisciplinary team, including Hardware, Software, Image Analysis, Camera Imaging, & Firmware. You will be responsible for identifying future technology within your area and collaborate with Global teams of scientists and engineers to complete proof of concept as well as transferring proven technology to product development.

The base salary range for this position is $107,000 to $135,000 . This position will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. The actual compensation paid to any individual for this position may vary depending on factors such as experience, internal equity, market conditions, education/training, and skill level. Actual compensation will be confirmed in writing at the time of offer.
