Middle East Broadcasting Networks, Inc. (MBN) is seeking an MBN looking for an experienced, dynamic Sr. Designer - Motion Designer for our Creative Services Team at the Headquarters office in Springfield, VA. The Sr. Designer. Motion Designer is responsible for collaborating with the creative team on conceptualizing, developing, and executing high quality broadcast motion designs that creates competitive advantage for the network. In addition, the senior broadcast motion designer will provide leadership and assistance to the designers and where needed.

DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES: (Duties and responsibilities noted with bullets are the essential functions of the job)

• Provide various illustrative, animated, motion design, and still graphics solutions for the entities of MBN including new show packages, special reports, and branding.
• Deliver hi-end graphics solutions including VRs, ARs, graphics stories and reports, chapter heads, openers, infographics, and complex animated and composite creative solutions.
• Supervise the execution of graphics on MBN’s platforms and provide solutions, guidance, and assistance to MBN staff in matters related to graphics, brand, and visuals.
• Maintain the graphic identity of MBN and its entities.
• Brainstorming creative graphics ideas and concepts.
• Present storyboards, ideas, and concepts which encompasses the latest trends and technologies in the industry.
• Keep up to date on the latest developments in the field.
• Ability to guide and direct creative filming and photoshoots for branding, special reports, and promotional needs of MBN.
• Research stock photography, illustration, sound, or video-clips as needed.

​Candidates are required to have:

• A degree in Fine Arts, motion graphics, design, multimedia, or equivalent education or experience is sought 3-5 minimum years of experience is required.
• Excellent design skills with emphasis on digital and broadcast motion design, animation, layouts, colors, and compositing.
• Demonstrate an understanding of Arabic language as they will be producing graphics work in Arabic.
• Excellent knowledge of After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D software such as Cinema 4D, 3D Max, or Maya.
• Candidates must conceptualize, design, develop and animate projects including show opens, show packages, animated stories, digital graphics, promos, and layouts.
• Candidates must be able to perform and complete complex graphics from concept until delivery.
• Candidates must be able to handle working under pressure and tight deadlines. They also must be able to coordinate across departments and manage client and work deliverables.
• Candidates must be able to read Arabic and provide creative solutions in it.
• candidates will have an excellent eye for motion, form and color and will be familiar with both MAC and PC.
• Excellent communications skills, with a can-do and positive attitude.
