Senior Podcast Producer Presenter 

 The Middle East Broadcasting Networks, Inc. (MBN) is looking for a highly experienced Senior Podcast Producer Presenter for developing and managing digital audio programs across multiple podcast platforms. 

The primary duties and responsibilities of the Senior Podcast Producer Presenter include, but are not limited to:

• Plan episodes and finalize pitches.
• Write, edit, and review episode scripts, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and engaging storytelling.
• Develop a structured format for each episode, including compelling openings and clear, concise explanations.
• Provide feedback, review, and re-writes of final copies and tape.
• Lead the podcast production process, including recording, editing, sound design, and mixing.
• Collaborate with the host, sound engineers, and other team members to ensure high-quality audio production.
• Contribute and supervise post-production and ready episodes for mastering.
• Coordinate with MBN network of reporters and producers on partnerships for making episodes from around the World. 
• Grow the podcasts in quantity and quality.
• Stay abreast of industry standards to ensure podcasts are meeting best practices.
• Assist in developing and producing future podcasts.
• Train interns and new staff on podcast techniques and best practices.
• Manage podcast productions, including budgets, staffing and creativity.
• Maintain high editorial and production standards, ensuring that each episode is factually accurate and in line with the organization's values and guidelines.
• Work closely with MBN staff to identify and develop existing internal podcast opportunities.
• Set KPIs for audience growth and continually evaluate performance.
• Partner with cross-network teams on marketing and communication strategies.

OTHER DUTIES:

The incumbent may be asked to perform additional duties and take on other responsibilities as dictated by events and circumstances.

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• At least a bachelor’s degree in mass communications, journalism, or relevant field.
• At least 5 years of experience working in digital audio and podcasts at a news organization.
• Proven experience in developing host and producer talent.
• Proven experience in podcast production, with a strong track record of creating engaging and informative content.
• Exceptional scriptwriting and storytelling skills.
• Strong research abilities and the capacity to break down complex topics into easily digestible content.
• Experience in team management and leadership.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet daily production deadlines.
• Knowledge of audio production tools and software.
• A passion for current events, news, and explaining complex topics to a general audience.
