Associate Producer - Beirut

The Middle East Broadcasting Networks, Inc. (MBN) is seeking for an experienced Associate Producer to assist in all areas of production, from editorial decisions, pre-production through post-production of programs, package elements, live events, and features and long form films. This position location is required for Beirut, Lebanon.

Incumbent will undertake routine production tasks such as budgeting, scheduling, and asset sourcing to support production projects. Associate producer receives detailed instructions on all work and is closely supervised by Producers and/or Sr. Producer Programming.

The Associate Producer will assist in defining, writing and producing shows stories and report information to audience, and will assist Producers to determine show’s topics along with stories and features.

The Incumbent will manage the flow of assets and information between production team and internal company team members and will research and create lower thirds and graphics, Prepares traffic and usage reports on an as-needed basis.

The Incumbent will review segments of show together and edits sound bites, interviews and what he/she is assigned.

Candidates are required to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism or Communication
  • 4 years TV experience in a media production environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills exceptionally well organized and highly self-motivated and Highly detail oriented
  • Excellent Arabic written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to edit a high volume of content in a timely manner.
  • Experience using, photo and video editing software and excellent knowledge of Microsoft office is preferred.
  • Proficient with operating Systems
