Sound Design Lead

PRIMARY FUNCTION: To lead and maintain a highly efficient and creative sound design team and produce high-end audio creative MBN and its entities.

SPECIFIC DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES: (Essential Functions: Duties and responsibilities noted with bullets are considered to be the essential functions of the job).

·       Lead, manage, and coordinate MBN’s sound design team sound design production activities and processes.

·       Create, maintain, and oversee sound design requires, bookings, assignments, and schedules.

·       Oversee, supervise, and maintain MBN’s sound design technical setup, requirements, and functionality.

·       Provide creative high-quality audio and sound solutions to various media products.

·       Create and add music, sound effect, mix, levels, balance, mastering, and finalize all the audio requirements for MBN ’ s sound design needs.

·       Supervise recording voice overs and direct voice over talents when required.

·       Compose music, sonic signatures, and other audio requirements.

·       Provide music and audio concepts to the creative team.

·       Maintain a music and sound effects library and track usage right.

·       Train staff on using sound design software and techniques.

·       Maintain MBN ’ s audio identity.

OTHER DUTIES:

•      The incumbent may be asked to perform additional duties and take on other responsibilities as dictated by events and circumstances.

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

·        Degree in music or audio or equivalent experience with 10+ years of experience in a music and audio production environment including supervising requests and managing workflows and clients.

·        Excellent skills in Protools, Adobe Audition, and Logic Pro.

·        Ability to demonstrate creative thinking in story-telling through the use of music, sound effects and direction/ performance of voice over.

·        Excellent communications skills, with a can-do and positive attitude.

·        Excellent audio technical skills and knowledge.

·        Ability to read, speak and understand Classical Arabic at a professional level.
