Social Media Producer, MBN Digital

The Middle East Broadcasting Networks, Inc. (MBN) is seeking a Social Media Producer to produce breaking and trending news stories across social platforms at our headquarters in Springfield, VA.

The Social Media Producer creates original text, images, and video content for social media in coordination with editorial and creative teams. The incumbent monitors interactions and analyzes data to provide recommendations, and oversees social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures, and blog layout).

The Social Media Producer publishes on a timely manner breaking news & live coverage on social media platforms. The incumbent performs research on current benchmark trends and monitors social SEO, in order to suggest new features to increase reach, boost brand awareness, and enhance audience engagement.

Candidates are required to have:

• At Least a Bachelor Degree in Marketing or relevant field.
• Proven work experience in social media management and hands-on experience in writing for social media.
• Knowledge of SEO and keyword research,
• Knowledge of all types of online and social media analytics.
• Knowledge of video and graphic programs (i.e. Adobe Suite).
• Excellent copywriting and rephrasing skills.
• Ability to write catchy yet meaningful headlines and captions.
• Ability to accommodate flexible work schedule to support 24/7 news environment.
