Video Editor

The Middle East Broadcasting Networks, Inc. (MBN)  is  seeking a creative Video Editor for our Broadcast Operations team at our offices in Springfield, VA.  The Video Editor is responsible for editing news and programming for MBN as assigned. They are also responsible for editing social media and acquired programs as assigned. They will provide creative expertise on projects. They will interface with producers, writers, and other creative and technical staff to provide creative and technical input as needed to facilitate and expedite completion of video content. 

Candidates are required to have: 

• 5 years experience in a news or deadline driven program editing environment.
• 5 years experience with Premier Pro, After Effects and Photoshop.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize extensive journalistic judgement and knowledge of production techniques while maintaining high technical and editorial standards, especially editing field shows and documentaries.
• Demonstrate storytelling ability through editing.
• Ability to speak and read Arabic is highly desirable.
