Multimedia Producer, MBN Digital
The Middle East Broadcasting Networks, Inc. (MBN) is seeking a Multimedia Producer, MBN Digital to tell compelling stories in forms of text, images & videos at our headquarters in Springfield, VA.
The Multimedia Producer, MBN Digital produces distinctive multimedia content for MBN’s digital platforms, and covers live events & breaking news in various formats. The incumbent is sources and edits pictures in collaboration with creative team, along with conducting research and writing stories.
The Multimedia Producer ensures the breaking news are delivered to the audience in a timely manner, and writes interesting headlines and captions. The Multimedia Producer cultivates a collaborative approach to newsgathering and delivery across all MBN’s digital outlets, by adhering to MBN journalistic Code of Ethics.
Candidates are required to have:
- At least Bachelor’s degree Media or related field.
- A minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience in writing for scripts for visual stories (videos & infographics).
- Knowledge of online production and content management systems.
- Sound editorial judgment.
- Excellent verbal and written Arabic and English communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience with Adobe Photoshop & Premier.
- Ability to accommodate flexible work schedule to support 24/7 news environment.
