This Opportunity

WSP is currently initiating a search for a Full-Time Sr. HRIS Analyst for our Seattle office.  The position can be based in any major WSP USA office and also REMOTE . Be involved in projects with our Human ResourceTeam and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges. 

Your Impact

As an Analyst on the HRIS team, you must be eager to solve problems, have a strong interest in gleaning insights from analysis and the ability to influence decisions made by WSP leadership. Additionally, you should be able to handle multiple high-impact projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. While working with us, you'll develop your data management, analytics and project management skills as you become part of the dynamic world of WSP.

  • Support the review, testing and implementation of HRIS digital migration efforts.
  • Review, update, and investigate pertinent data from service providers to ensure a high level of quality, accuracy, and timeliness. 
  • Analyze data flows for process improvement opportunities.
  • Work with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes to data, reports, and dashboards.
  • Performs data updates, imports and researches/reports on any data discrepancies.
  • Analyze and research HR data to to review the effectiveness of new initiatives and identify trends.
  • Collaborate with functional staff, technical staff and vendors to coordinate application upgrade or fix.     
  • Assist the review, testing and implementation of HRIS upgrades and patches. 
  • Quickly respond to a variety of ad-hoc reporting requests from across the organization.
  • Ensure efficient HRIS through table maintenance, upgrades, workflow maintenance and testing.
  • Maintain documentation and update reports as data system enhancements are put into place and/or business rules evolve.
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in analytics 

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or the equivalent relevant work experience.

  • Experience in report writing and analytics.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.

  • Good communication, organization and analytical skills.

  • Able to manage multiple projects and priorities, including day-to-day administrative reporting, data extracts for vendors and support services with time-sensitive deadlines.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Agile/scrum methodology a plus.

  • Knowledge of MS Power Query, MS Power Platform and/or Power BI.
