ATCO is looking for an experienced HR Coordinator to join their team to provide HR support.
The Human Resources Coordinator will report in-person at ATCO's headquarters office located in Snohomish, WA and perform tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s human resources department; participate in the recruitment process by identifying, interviewing, and evaluating potential candidates; and work with our ATS (applicant tracking system) to enhance time-to-fill metrics. This position will report to the HR Director and support Human Resources, Benefits and Legal.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Update and assist in writing job descriptions.
· Source potential candidates from various online channels.
· Screen incoming resumes and application forms for vetting.
· Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
· Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
· Perform periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
· Provide clerical support to Business Operations department, including Human Resources, Benefits and Legal.
· Conduct or assist with new hire orientation.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Able to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
· Proficient with MS Office Suite, with emphasis on Excel, Word, Outlook.
· Experience using MS SharePoint and Teams.
· Strong keyboarding skills with emphasis on accuracy.
· Proficient with, or the ability to quickly learn Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
· Experience using QuickBooks, desired.
· Experience with sourcing techniques.
Education and Experience:
· 1-3 years’ HR experience required.
· Degree in Human Resources Management, Personnel Management, or related field desired.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer.
· Physical ability to lift up to 15 pounds on occasion.
