Position Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate to join ifm’s collaborative and innovative Finance & Operations team. The Financial & Operations Analyst role was created in response to ifm’s rapidly expanding operational needs and will play a critical role in the expansion of the Finance team’s contributions to ifm’s continuing success.
Job Responsibilities
- Administer the ifm car program:
- Coordinate eligibility, selections, ordering, & delivery of vehicles with drivers & vendors.
- Own monthly dashboard reporting, including KPI’s, variance analysis, and forecasting.
- Work with Controller and C-Suite on ad hoc analyses to “tell the story” of financial and operational impacts of potential policy changes to the ifm car program.
- Address various operational needs such as registrations, insurance, EZ Pass, etc.
- Act as ifm travel coordinator:
- Manage travel rewards programs including strategy, reporting, administration, ad hoc requests
- Liaise with travel management company to address operational needs re: bookings, invoicing, expense coding, unused tickets or travel credits, etc.
- Liaise with ifm travelers to address logistical needs or troubleshoot unexpected challenges
- Work with management to evaluate long-term business needs for effective development of strategic vendor partnerships
- Partner with functional leaders on annual planning and quarterly estimates
- Create monthly financial reporting packages with insights, explanations, and recommendations including analysis on performance vs. plan, estimate, and prior year; identify trends and analyze variances.
- Build, track, and manage administrative expense reports with various departments.
- Develop and calculate metrics to facilitate key performance indicators.
- Support monthly close process including timely monthly reporting of business performance.
- Serve as a financial systems expert for multiple solutions.
- Contribute to special projects and perform other key initiatives as required.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree, Accounting or Finance preferred
- 2 years’ experience in a Finance or Operations team
- Prior knowledge of SAP, SalesForce, Concur, LeaseQuery helpful but not required
- Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office (Excel)
- Critical thinking, problem solving skills and ability to multi-task multiple priorities
- Excellent communication & inter-personal skills – vendor partners / internal customers / C-suite
- Demonstrates proper sense of urgency
- Must maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- May travel occasionally, depending on business need
