Mission Manager SETA SME (Strategy and Policy Analyst)
Location: National Capital Region (NCR) Pentagon (Telework eligible)
Clearance: TS/SCI (SCI Eligible)
Education: MA/MS in a national security, geopolitical, or international-related field (or a BA/BS plus an additional 4 years of related work experience)
Outcomes:
The successful candidate is expected to accomplish the following outcomes during the first year in the position:

Formally track all tasks, to include: assigned by, suspense, status, and comments on all assigned tasks through completion and be prepared to brief upon request.

Develop digital continuity folders and files that include standard operating procedures, workflows and POC lists to accomplish all tasks.

Create 2-3 products beyond the client’s requirements that positively impact the client to either increase efficiency, effectiveness, or innovation.

Master position tasks within 60 days and exceed requirements within 90 days.
Responsibilities:
The Mission Manager SETA SME leads the team operations and supports the delivery of strategic planning and operational management within OUSD. the Mission Manager SME is responsible for providing intelligence analysis, strategic assessments, intelligence research, preparation and presentation of intelligence briefings, assessments and studies; and prepares concise written reports. Per section 1.3.5 of the PWS, specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Provide SME expertise in technology applications, design concepts, and operations associated with classified DoD computer networks.

Provide off-site technical intelligence and management support to CDM requirements.

Work collaboratively with other intelligence analysts and technology specialists.

Create actionable information activities intelligence (e.g., military intelligence analysis) across the various intelligence disciplines/domains or scientific and technical intelligence; or, within the business, competitive, and market intelligence domains.

Produce intelligence reports in a variety of formats for concise, succinct, and clear delivery (RR #46).

Develop expedited intelligence reports by utilizing advanced text and visual analytics.
Qualifications:
The candidate must have the following qualifications:

Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience as an intelligence and/or targeting analyst.

Specific experience having performed DOD/IC controlled operations, controlled operations planning and management.

Having performed JSOC paramilitary operations, and title 10/50 operations.

PMP Certification or at least ten (10) years program/project management experience.
The following qualifications are desired:

Familiarity with various market research techniques, commercial and/or scientific sectors.

Experience managing the work of others.
-
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills to communicate information to all levels and technical and non-technical audiences..
Travel: Some local travel and TDY may be required, less than 10%.
