PACO Group, Inc. (PACO) is looking for a seasoned Inspector to join our team on State of Good repair (SOGR) for 43 New York City Transit Station (NYCT) for Progressive Design Build. 

 

Scope of Work

To provide inspection services for 43 stations in a 3-month time frame. The Scope of work requires Discovery, physical inspections, and Reports. (The Work will be categorized into two Broad Categories. Architectural and Structural).

 

For Architecture: Platform Walls/Ceilings, Platform Floors, Mezzanine Floors, Mezzanine Walls/Ceiling, Stairs, Lighting, Other

For Structures: Platform Edges, Ventilators, Platform Components, Windscreens, Canopies, Stairs Mezzanine Components, Other

 

Responsibilities:

 

Review all Reference Documents, Baseline Condition Reports, Standard Drawings, and Reference Drawings.

To perform the inspection services, quality, and health and safety Plan. 

Generate detailed reports based on the information captured during Discovery, including defects list. 

Generate Stations Plans.

Develop Stations and Track numbers.

Develop MTA-NYCT Subway Track Diagrams.

Generate MTA- C&D Diversion Request status report and Fastrack Schedules. 

 

Requirements

 

Bachelors in civil engineering, structural engineering, architecture and or related field.

OSHA-30 

 

Experience

 

Minimum of 7 years of experience in Inspection and testing services, preferably with MTA-NYCT projects. 

 

Location

The boroughs of New York City.

 

Duration

3 Months or more...

 

Working Hours

The job requires working during the day shift Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. -5:30 P.M, with the possibility of working on weekends and nights. 

 

Pay Rate

$40-$60 Per Hour Commensurate with experience.
