We are currently seeking a QC Raw Materials Associate who is responsible for conducting routine analysis, inspection, testing and release of raw materials and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) under supervision. The QC Associate I may focus in a specialized area and provide support in any of the following areas: incoming material inspection and sampling, inspection of vials and stoppers for defects, test method qualification, material qualification, dimensional analysis of components, chemical identification or other lab tests, inspection of commercial packaging materials, lab cleaning and maintenance, maintenance of QC files and paperwork.



  • Conducts routine inspection, testing and release of samples under general supervision.
  • Adheres to cGMP requirements and SOPs.
  • Compiles data for documentation of test procedures.
  • Responsible for standardization and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Reviews data obtained for compliance specifications and reports abnormalities.
  • Writes and reviews product specifications as required.
  • May assist in the transfer, qualification and validation of new testing methods with guidance from lead or supervisor.
  • Maintains lab area including routine cleaning of benches, biosafety cabinets, shelving and floors.
  • Collects and disposes of lab wastes according to established procedures.
  • Regular and reliable attendance on a full time basis [or in accordance with posted schedule].
  • Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal and external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company’s policies and practices.
  • Embodies Aji Bio-Pharma’s cultural values and aligns daily actions with department goals and company culture.



  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience. Bachelor’s degree in a Life Sciences discipline or equivalent preferred.
  • Zero to two (0-2) years of relevant experience in laboratory or quality control.
  • Ability to perform testing in a highly accurate and reproducible manner.
  • Familiarity with cGMP concepts and ability to troubleshoot.
  • Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work as a team member within prescribed guidelines.
  • Ability to follow detailed directions in a laboratory environment.
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft Office applications
