Entry-Level Civil Designer (0-4 yrs experience)  *FUTURE OPPORTUNITY*

Qualifications

  • BSCE
  • EIT certification (preferred)
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience is highly desirable
  • Strong work ethic and desire to learn

 

Company

The Portland Civil + Survey office (including satellite offices in Eugene and Washington DC) consists of 105 employees including 41 PEs and 3 PLSs. We champion public transportation by paying 50% of monthly transit passes and providing secured bike parking at no charge. We believe in promoting health – Portland employees have free access to a gym facility with locker rooms and showers in our building and we also offer a free Yoga class on Tuesdays led by a certified trainer. Our office has transitioned into a hybrid work environment. The expectation is that employees will work in-office 3 days/week with flexibility to work remotely 2 days.

We work on a wide variety of project types, serving public and private clients in land development, transportation, and municipal projects. This includes architectural-led projects for higher ed campuses, sports facilities, schools, medical campuses, and mixed-use housing. In addition, we work on parks, trails, master planning, and include stormwater management and a sustainability focus in everything we do. We believe in encouraging personal and professional development, and work hard at providing a solid structure and opportunities to support that growth.
