Position Overview:
The API developer will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and maintaining application programming interfaces. This role involves working with RESTful and SOAP APIs, understanding HTTP methods, data formats such as JSON, and basic authentication concepts. The developer will use low-code platforms, including MuleSoft and Decisions, to support development efforts. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments across Mediacom while consistently applying best practices in documentation, performance, scalability, and modern workflows.

Position Responsibilities:
Design, code, and modify APIs according to various department requests.
Ensure best practices are applied and integrity of data is maintained through security, documentation, and change management.
Position Requirements:
Cursory knowledge of APIs, OpenAPI spec, query writing and optimization, Linux OS
Experience with MuleSoft, Postman, Database Experience, and MYSQL
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Disclaimer: The salary range for this position is $48,000- $62,000. When making a job offer, we consider several factors in our determination, such as years of related work experience, relevant skills and qualifications; education level, and certifications/licenses.
