Compensation
- Base Salary: The full salary range for the Assistant Cash Management Officer position is $31.95 to $46.25 per hour, with new hires generally starting between $34.30 to $39.10 per hour, based on relevant knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
- Annual Incentive: In addition, all SELCO team members receive an annual incentive based on how well SELCO meets the prior year’s strategic business goals. This incentive is calculated using the team member’s prior year eligible earnings and ranges from 0%-12% (with the average payout over the last five years being 11.07%).

Position Overview
Provide quality services to existing business members while actively growing business banking relationships. Responsible for the development and maintenance of SELCO’s cash management and business deposit portfolios.

Position-specific Essential Functions
- Assist with the administration of SELCO’s cash management program, including pricing and negotiation of related products for business members.
- Implement, train, and provide ongoing maintenance of business deposit and cash management products and services such as account analysis, digital banking, remote deposit capture, ACH origination, and positive pay.
- Analyze, evaluate, and interpret information related to cash management members and prospects such as management and business history, industry risk, tax returns, financial statements, and deposit history.
- Prepare thorough customer analysis, including financial reports with explanations, along with spreading tax returns and financial information, such as account analysis, and business deposit bank statements.
- Assist with interviewing and qualifying member requests for cash management and business deposit services.
- Prepare annual renewals for required cash management services, ensuring compliance and service continuity.
- Act as a resource for complex issues and provide responses to concerns and requests.
- Maintain and demonstrate thorough knowledge of business deposit accounts and cash management services with the ability to analyze business structure documents, bank statements, and other legal documentation for establishing banking services.
- Evaluate and interpret business member needs and make sound recommendations.
- Assist with setting up, maintaining, and providing service for business deposit accounts and cash management products while ensuring timely onboarding and accurate documentation.
- Participate in Commercial & Business Banking projects as needed, including the implementation and conversion of new software. Assist with testing upgrades and releases, and update related procedures, job aids, and member help guides as necessary.
- Provide mentorship and training to team members, sharing best practices and fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
- Actively promote and cross-sell SELCO products and services to business members and the community. Represent SELCO in the community on a regular basis (e.g., trade and service organizations).

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; and
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting preferred; and
- At least two (2) years' experience in a business or treasury associate role, or related experience in a private or relationship banking role; and
- Successful completion of accounting courses within six (6) months of hire date; and
- Must be bondable.
Physical Demands
While performing the job duties, approximately 90% of the time is spent stationary, with the remaining time spent moving around work areas. Frequent communication occurs in person, over the phone, and in writing. This position requires the ability to view a computer screen and interpret printed materials and other documents. This position requires the ability to lift and transport up to 5 pounds, and there is an occasional need to stoop, kneel, or reach to access documents, equipment, and supplies.
Interaction and Work Environment
Reports to: Vice President, Cash Management Officer & Team Leader
Work areas are inside in a climate-controlled environment with background noise and may include offsite locations for meetings. Travel between locations is required as needed for events.
