Salary Expectation:
$22.15 to $24.92 per hour (Note: The hourly rate will commensurate based on education and occupational experience).

LOCATION:  Lakeshore College – Cleveland, Wisconsin

POSITION SUMMARY: The Digital Marketing Analyst is responsible for developing consumer-insight driven data to advance the online interactive experience and increase engagement. Work closely with the team to develop and enhance website content. Measure, analyze, and report key performance indicators across all digital properties. Garner insights from analytics, set-up integrated digital recruitment campaigns, analyze metrics, and provide/implement actionable insights. Provide an exceptional customer service experience to both internal and external customers throughout every interaction.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (Other duties may be assigned):

(65%) Website Developer

  • Maintain website standards for design, navigation, browser compatibility and accessibility, and ensure the website is secure, backed up, and performing optimally according to industry standards.
  • Develop interactive front-end web applications and other interactive functionality (e.g. web forms) as needed.
  • Work seamlessly across multiple cloud environments, deploying code between Development, Staging, and Production environments.
  • Responsible for ensuring the CMS software and its contributed modules are consistently kept up to date.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, manage special projects, and oversee annual website content review.
  • Troubleshoots problems with web pages and applications that run in conjunction with web pages. Performs routine software tests to verify that applications are operational.
  • Develop tagging implementation guidelines and best practices.
  • Manage, implement and track ongoing website content changes.
  • Collaborate with marketing team and key stakeholders on website components for key business initiatives.
  • Own technical SEO strategy and implement SEO best practices. 

(30%) Analytics and Reporting 

  • Develop a high-level of expertise in Google Analytics and serve as an in-house expert on Google Analytics configuration and reporting.
  • Monitor and analyze Google Analytics and other data sources.
  • Analyze clickstream data and segment site visitors to uncover trends in online prospective student behavior.
  • Manage the creation and analysis of A/B and UX test results with the goal of continually improving the website experience, driving the growth of engaging new students, and increasing the return on investment.
  • Monitor digital ad campaign performance and provide recommendations to optimize accordingly.
  • Monitor outbound ConstantContact email marketing campaigns creating reports and dashboards to continually improve engagement and conversions.
  • Develop reports, based on quantitative and qualitative data/feedback, illustrating the performance of digital properties and campaigns across all digital channels.    

(5%) Marketing Support

  • Participate on college committees as needed and provide input to the direction of college marketing initiatives.   

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate's degree from a regionally accredited college or university in a related discipline required. Bachelor's degree preferred. 
  • Two to four years of relevant occupational experience required.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSURE, REGISTRATION:

  • Google Analytics certification preferred. 
  • Google Digital Marketing & Ecommerce certificate preferred. 
  • Google Data Analytics Certificate preferred.
  • Google BI and Analytics with Looker preferred. 
     

KNOWLEDGE

  • Knowledge of Lakeshore’s mission, vision, and strategic direction.

SKILLS

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Proficient in CMS software, Drupal preferred.
  • Proficient in DXP software, Acquia preferred.
  • Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Git, and Cloud Based hosting.
  • Strong knowledge of web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Lookr, Google Tag Manager)
  • Strong knowledge of UX principles and SEO best practices.
  • Strong data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
