We are currently growing and looking forward to hiring Education Architect and Trainer for Global Educational Services
We are seeking a Education Architect and Trainer with a passion for instructional design and a strong interest in the printing industry. In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging, high-quality training materials and courses—such as how-to guides, interactive eLearning modules, and quick “express” video tutorials—that cater to our end users, distributors, and business partners. You will leverage software tools like Adobe Captivate and TechSmith Camtasia to design and deliver content that drives product adoption, enhances customer satisfaction, and ensures our stakeholders are well-equipped with the knowledge they need. This position is remote and open to candidates based in Canada, the UK, Germany, or Spain.
Key Responsibilities
Instructional Material Development
Create interactive eLearning courses, microlearning modules, and video tutorials to support both in-person and virtual training sessions using Adobe Captivate and TechSmith Camtasia.
Curriculum & Content Design
Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders within the printing industry to structure and design course content that is accurate, engaging, and aligned with business goals.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in eLearning to continually improve the instructional design process.
Project Coordination
Work closely with cross-functional teams (technical writers, product managers, marketing, etc.) to ensure timely delivery of training programs.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring consistency in style, branding, and educational effectiveness across all deliverables.
Quality Assurance & Feedback
Conduct needs assessments, pilot tests, and feedback sessions to refine training materials for clarity, usability, and instructional impact.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to learning materials and digital course platforms.
Technical & Industry Integration
Incorporate relevant printing industry concepts, including Fiery, print workflows, JDF, webhooks, and API integrations, into the instructional materials.
Translate complex technical processes into understandable and user-friendly content.
Required Qualifications
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, or a related field.
Language Skills: Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Software Proficiency: Familiarity with or experience in Adobe Captivate and TechSmith Camtasia (or similar eLearning development tools).
Organizational & Time Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
Adaptability: Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving project requirements.
Desired Skills & Knowledge
Printing Industry Background: Basic understanding of Digital Front Ends (DFEs), print workflows, and related technologies.
Fiery Knowledge: Familiarity with Fiery servers, options and integration within print environments.
Technical Integration: Exposure to JDF, webhooks, and API concepts, especially within print workflows.
Multimedia Design: Experience with graphic design, video editing, and/or animation.
Instructional Design Methodologies: Knowledge of ADDIE or similar instructional design frameworks.
