This role will help lead our international expansion by driving digital engagement with new and existing customers with a focus on conversion and sustainable growth across all categories.
What You Will Do
Work with cross functional partners (Merchandise Development, Creative, Planning, Editing and Marketing) to drive best-in-class visitor experience by developing a deep understanding of site performance, business analytics and customer experience to drive top-line growth.
Leverage e-commerce principles, analytics, and general business expertise to identify opportunities to improve conversion, product page views, average order value, units per transaction, and add to cart rates, driving incremental engagement and sales.
Along with Digital Merchandising Manager and Sr. Ecommerce Project Managers, aid in determining best-practice processes for expanding Pokémon Center’s ecommerce business into new markets – and create thorough documentation to aid future expansion efforts.
Responsible for product set-up prior to launch and ensuring accurate product descriptions to support SEO and Categorization strategies.
Manage day-to-day product maintenance and lead product data validation efforts to ensure PDPs are brand appropriate and richly detailed for launch.
Work closely with Ecommerce team managers to report weekly on website merchandising strategies by providing insights and recommendations on effective product presentations through available web analytic tools.
Partner with Sr. Website Optimization Analyst and Digital Merchandising Manager to influence the development of new site features/functionality to support the best possible customer experience
Partner with Digital Merchandising Manager on setting Editorial Calendar and building content to support editorial plans.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- 3+ years’ experience as a Digital Merchandiser for an online retailer
- Experience with Bloomreach, CSS and HTML a plus
- Proficiency with Excel and website analytics tools like Google Analytics or Omniture/Adobe Analytics
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to be flexible with problem-solving to meet objectives
- Ability to effectively deal with ambiguity as business needs change
