Utility Driver - Nashville, TN

Description

Operates a variety of company vehicles to collect product from satellite tanks, railcars, and/or customer/company locations, service parts washers, collect used oil filters, and provide additional industrial services, as needed.  Oversees the appearance, operation, and maintenance of the vehicle.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a company vehicle
  • Must be able to operate any truck or trailer in the company fleet as dispatched
  • Perform daily inspections of interior and exterior of company equipment, identifying any defects and communicating any maintenance needs
  • Responsive to branch needs regarding the movement of containers on the yard, to include a variety of equipment for various aspects of the operation
  • Perform all pre/post trip inspections and log hours of service accurately on the ELD
  • Load and unload used motor oil into rail cards, satellite tanks, or frack tanks.
  • Complete daily paperwork as required                        
  • Deliver and pick up various products from satellite tanks, railcars, customer or company locations
  • Perform job duties in accordance with Noble Oil Services, Inc. and DOT regulations
  • Occasional out of town work required with some overnight stays
  • Evening, weekend, holiday, and overnight work may be required
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

  • Valid Class A or B CDL license
  • Tanker Endorsement
  • Ability to obtain a Hazmat endorsement
  • Heavy lifting, up to 75lbs, is required
  • Good communication skills, oral and written
  • Ability to read maps and follow directions
  • Excellent Driving Record
    • Must meet all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
    • No current license suspension or revocation (Work permits not acceptable)
    • No major traffic violations in the past 3 years
      • Reckless/Careless Driving
      • DWI/DUI
      • Hit and Run, leaving the scene of an accident or failure to report an accident
      • Excessive speeding as defined by the DOT, any single offense for any speed 15 mph or more above the posed speed limit
  • No preventable accidents involving a fatality within the past three years.
