Description

KPFF San Francisco is seeking Structural Revit Modelers with 1-3 years of experience for full time employment.

NOTE:  A Revit test will be given during the interview.

 

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 1+ year of experience using Revit Structure or Revit Architecture 2012 or higher with a thorough understanding of applications, tools and function
  • Proficient in AutoCAD 2010 or higher
  • Revit family use
  • Tagging and Annotation
  • Experience using 3DS Max, Adobe CS Suite, Rhino, Grasshopper, Navisworks, Digital Projects, Tekla, 360 Glue, Augmented Reality and SketchUp a big plus

 

Responsibilities :

  • Developing engineer’s concepts and sketches into accurate parametric models and drawings
  • Manipulating annotative and detail component families, updating tags, and maintenance of live schedules
  • Maintenance of views associated with multiple linked Revit models
  • Managing drawing issues and daily housekeeping in terms of both digital and hard copy project file storage

 

Qualities:

  • Being an active member of the design team, communicating and coordinating confidently, accurately and professionally
  • Positive and practical attitude towards problem solving and working as a team
  • Creative thinking to solve both building design and drawing production challenges 
  • Strong detailing capabilities
  • An interest in keeping up with the latest software and hardware innovations
  • Good overall computer and IT skills; use of Microsoft Office essential
