Structural Engineering Summer Internship

Are you looking for an unforgettable and fun intern experience? Hoping to join an organization with a great work environment? Wondering what it is really like to work in structural design? KPFF Los Angeles Structural is looking for summer interns to join us for summer 2023! 2 in 3 Los Angeles Structural interns return as full-time employees or return for another internship in the next year.

  • Real work environment & experience –2022 interns spent nearly 75% of their time on project work
  • Mentorship with skilled engineers & CAD designers
  • Hands-on training – nearly 25% of interns’ time is dedicated to training programs
  • Collaboration on interesting projects and visit active job sites
  • 40-hour work schedule, Monday through Friday
  • Interns work Monday-Thursday in our Downtown office and have the option to work remotely on Fridays
  • Opportunities for social interaction, teambuilding, and fun!

Minimum Qualifications

  • Junior or above working toward a BS in Civil Engineering (with an emphasis in Structures).
    • Transcripts must show completed courses in:
      • Structural Analysis 
      • Mechanics of Materials 
  • Senior or above working toward a BS in Civil Engineering (with an emphasis in Structures).
    • Transcripts must show completed courses in:
      • Structural Analysis 
      • Mechanics of Materials 
      • Concrete
      • Steel or Wood Design
