The Server defines services our customer by taking and delivering food orders.

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Confirms daily specials and provides detail information on ingredients as required
  • Records client’s choices and relays same to kitchen
  • Recalls orders accurately and delivers correct food items to clients
  • Graciously and unobtrusively ensures client satisfaction with meals
  • Ensures that clients know about new items on the menu
  • Recommends wine and beverage pairings with assistance of bartender
  • Recommends side dishes to compliment main courses
  • Up-sells beverages, coffees and desserts as appropriate
  • Handles all customer service concerns graciously, referring difficult issues to the Manager / Executive Chef
  • Comply with all Health & Safety policies and requirements

The ideal candidate:

  • High School Diploma
  • 2-3 years previous experience in similar capacity
  • Fully bilingual in French and English

The measures of success: 

  • Contribution to financial objectives
  • Individual objectives linked to the achievement of department goals
  • Feedback from internal and external clients
