Area Coordinator, T/L Maintenance


Coordinate and supervise all transmission line maintenance activities in assigned region. Provide leadership in decision-making process on transmission line maintenance activities and investigate with resolution encroachment requests, UPC tickets and complaints in region. Commission new transmission lines and provide routing input of new transmission lines.

Education:  Associate Degree in Engineering Technology, forestry, environmental science.

Experience:  Six years in transmission line construction, operation or maintenance.

Equivalent Experience:  Four years direct experience with increasing responsibility in the utility industry. 

Licenses and Certifications:  GA Drivers License,  Herbicide Application License.

Specialized Skills (e.g., computer, software):  Read and interpret drawings, specifications, safety practices and operating procedures.  PC skills including GIS, Palmpad and remote E-Mail, Excel and Word software capabilities.  Conflict management skills for dealing with public.
