Coordinate and supervise all transmission line maintenance activities in assigned region. Provide assistance and/or coordination for transmission line related operations/incidents pertaining to assigned region as required. Provide leadership in decision making process on transmission line maintenance activities and investigate with resolution inquiries related to line maintenance activities. Evaluate and address unauthorized encroachments as they are identified. Support Capital Projects including but not limited to route selection, center line, scoping meeting participation, inspection during construction and final inspection. Input maintenance records and address work orders in corporate Work Order System.
Education: Associates Degree in Engineering Technology, forestry, environmental science or related field.
Experience: Four (4) years in transmission line construction, operation or maintenance.
Equivalent Experience: Eight (8) Four years direct experience in transmission line construction, operation or maintenance with increasing responsibility.
Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations: GA Driver's License.
Specialized Skills (e.g., typing, computers, software, tools and equipment uses, etc.): Read and interpret drawings, specifications, safety practices, maps and operating procedures. UAS tools, digital communication devices, including PC, iPhone, iPad, remote GIS, E-mail, Excel, MS Word software capabilities. Conflict management skills for dealing with public.
