Outcomes:

The successful candidate is expected to accomplish the following outcomes:

·         Complete tasks assign prior to the date requested by Gemini supervisor and customer counterparts.

·         Deliver products and services that lead to an Exceptional rating in the Government Contractor Performance Assessment Reports.

Responsibilities:

The Aerial Delivery and Field Services specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

·         Serve as Co-chair for all Tri-annual Malfunction and Safety Analysis Review Boards in accordance with AR 59-4/AFJ 13-210. 

·         Coordinates with all USAF major commands, US Army, Navy, and Marine Corps airdrop units for the airdrop of personnel and equipment.  USAF Liaison for interservice airdrop issues on rigging procedures, questions, and philosophies to include related aerial delivery duties specified by the Director or ADO, ADFSD. 

·         Sole manager for the USAF SharePoint website.  Updates, reviews, and manages all publications, interims procedures, exceptions, DD 1748-2 reporting, and DD 1748-3 reporting.  Serves as the focal point for all USAF MAJCOM airdrop related issues.

·         Focal point for coordinating information and message traffic to USAF units for airdrop component and employment procedures and validating the USAF need to all agencies. 

·         Accomplishes reviews and recommends changes/updates to Technical Manuals/Technical Orders and airdrop related publications used by all DOD airdrop agencies. 

·         Provides USAF input to DOD airdrop testing agencies.

·         USAF focal point for information and interpretation of policy and procedures for joint airdrop inspection and aerial delivery procedures.

·         Provides input to reflect current airdrop employment doctrine on aircraft and loads for the development of Periods of Instruction (POI) and lesson plans for the Airdrop Load Inspector Certification and Parachute Rigger courses.

·         Coordinates airdrop related training requirements through Aerial Delivery Branch and 2AF for Mobile Training Teams supporting USAF airdrop units.

·         HQ AMC Operations Manager for Joint Airdrop Inspection exercises as the subject matter expert (SME).  Assists AMC/A3TW with all planning and implementation during assigned exercises.

·         Represents HQ AMC's Tactics staff at Air Force, Major Command, Wing Conferences and joint meetings when requested.

·         Assists HQ AMC/A3V in maintaining standardization of all USAF published aircrew airdrop rigging procedures by attending publications review conferences.

·         Focal point to provide input and feedback on all personnel and cargo development with lead agencies.  Ensures required leaders, at all levels, are coordinated in development and implementation of aerial delivery assets.

Qualifications:

The candidate must have the following qualifications:

·         10 years of experience in senior staff work involving Ariel Delivery.

·          Must meet the minimum requirements of a Bachelors Degree.

·          Provide advice, assistance in efficient and effective management, operation, and institutionalization of Air Force responsibilities pertaining to ariel delivery, guidance, standards, and oversight for the organizing, training, and equipping of Air Force Director of Air Force Special Warfare (AFSPECWAR) forces and weapon systems.

·         Conduct and provide research and data analyses, as required, to support AF/A3S programs.

·         Support organization, management, and improvement of assigned programs and projects, as well as input into the Headquarters Air Force (HAF) planning, programming, budgeting, and execution process.

The following qualifications are desired:

·        Parachute Rigger Course/Joint Airdrop Inspector Course

Travel: 

Minimal travel may be required.
