Position:         Senior Financial Analyst

Location:        Burlington, MA

Clearance:      Secret Clearance, TS/SCI preferred

Education:      Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or related degree desired.

Outcomes:
The successful candidate is expected to accomplish the following results in the first year in the position:

·         Complete tasks assigned prior to the date requested by Gemini supervisors and customer counterparts.

·         Deliver products and services that lead to an Exceptional rating in Government Contractor Performance Assessment Reports.

Responsibilities:

The Senior Financial Analyst reports to the Senior Pricing Manager and provides matrix support to specific Gemini Task Order Program Managers (PM) assigned by the Senior Pricing Manager. The Senior Financial Analyst leads financial tasks and supports team success by performing tasks, identifying issues, and actively contributing to the completion of tasks and products, and to customer Mission Success on assigned TOs.

The Senior Financial Analyst tracks funding data and forecasts contract funds requirements to (a) support planning and decision making on funding changes (b) develop funds requirements and budget estimates in support of approved programs, (c) determine funds in excess of contract needs and available for de-obligation, (d) obtain rough estimates of termination costs.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

·         Preparing the financial sections of Monthly Status Reports, and other Financial Reports required by the Task Order.

·         Identifying financial trends, issues, concerns, and makes recommendations to the PMs as necessary.

·         Tracking and forecasting labor, travel, and Other Direct Costs (ODC).

·         Ensuring timeliness and accuracy of employee timesheets and expense reports.

·         Handling travel requirements in support of the TO:  Reviewing and processing Travel Authorization Requests and travel expense reports for accuracy and compliance with allowable and reimbursable costs.

·         Preparing monthly invoices for submission by the Gemini Controller.

·         Monitoring and tracking due dates for all deliverables and making follow-up contacts with the PM and team members to ensure timely submission of all deliverables.

·         Monitoring quality control metrics utilized by the Gemini PM, corporate staff, and team members to monitor quality of services and deliverables, and reporting results to PM, Task Leads, and Gemini staff as required.  Making recommendations for new and updated quality control metrics as necessary to the PM.

·         Completing annual Electronic Contractor Manpower Reporting and ensures report is completed NLT 31 October (annually).

·         Updating the Gemini APEX site with financial information and keeping APEX site up to date with current program status.

·         Support the Gemini PM and Senior Pricing Manager with any other additional duties.

Qualifications:

The candidate must have the following qualifications:

·         Minimum of ten (10) years of experience conducting financial analysis tasks on DoD projects.

·         Two (2) years of experience with Contract Funds Status Report (DI-MGMT-81468), contractor manpower reporting, and Joint Travel Regulation (JTR), IAW FAR Part 31.205-46.

·         Good verbal and written communications skills.

·         Ability to work as a member of a diverse team of highly specialized team members.

·         Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics is highly desired.

·         Strong skills with Microsoft Office suite applications and exceptional Microsoft Excel skills

·         Ability to work on critical taskings independently or with nominal levels of supervision.

·         Good problem-solving skills including taking the initiative to remedy problems, without being prompted, when the problems identified can be resolved by the employee and are within the employee’s domain of job performance.

Travel:     Minimal travel required
