Position:         Knowledge Management Lead 

Location:       Crystal City, Virginia   

Clearance:     Secret 

Education:     Masters’ Degree 

Outcomes: 

The successful candidate is expected to accomplish the following outcomes the first year in the position: 

  • Implement commercial organizational change best practices and oversee knowledge management systems. 

  • Perform accurate, high quality, and timely work which leads to positive Government review ratings.  

Responsibilities: 

The Headquarters United States Space Force (HQ USSF) and the Director of Staff (HQSF/DS) require assistance in organizational planning, implementation, maturation, and strengthening of the HQ Space Force. To further the process of developing HQ USSF, a multi-faceted planning, integration, and management support team continues to implement a multi-phased, (multi-year), plan to transition HQ USSF from an initial operating capacity to full operational capacity. The Knowledge Management Lead will support these efforts by performing the following functions: 

  • Develop, recommend, & implement KM strategies, to estimate the impact that new technology will have on existing processes 

  • Develop and maintain IM structures and applications 

  • Support organizational  process improvements   

Qualifications: The candidate must have the following qualifications 

  • Master's degree 

  • Ten (10) years of experience related to knowledge management, performance of business process definition and business process modeling, and information system schemes 

  • Secret Level Clearance
