Position:          Business Operations Administrator (Security Specialist)

Location:        Burlington, MA

Clearance:      Top Secret

Education:      BA/BS degree preferred

Outcomes: The Security Specialist and Administrator is expected to achieve the following outcomes:  The Security Specialist & Administrator will perform various support tasks in the Gemini Industries headquarters, Burlington, Massachusetts, that are important and necessary to ensure successful operations.  This position will have daily interaction with the Gemini Senior Leadership and serve as a primary point-of-contact for contracts and other related administration.

Specific responsibilities include.

  •  Interact and support senior leadership.
  •  Maintain personnel security files that contain Personally identifiable Information (PII). Receive and enter i9 information and files.
  •  Require on-time submission of Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency information, reports, and materials, as required.
  •  Participate in self-inspections as well as Security reviews.
  •  Investigate security incidents.
  •  Assist in maintaining security files and documents in accordance with the DoD Personnel Security Program.
  •  Manage incoming and outgoing visitor control processes.
  •  Conduct security education, training and briefings.
  •  Interacts with internal and external customers or Government security officials in performance of security duties.
  •  Acquires, reviews, and processes to completion - Periodic Reinvestigations, Reinstatements, Upgrades and Initial Clearances, PSQs. Working knowledge of DISS, eQIP and NISS, as required.
  •  Assist with the development and review of DD Form 254, H Clause of contracts and prepare DD Form 254s for subcontracts.
  •  Maintain current security policy files and have an understanding.
  •  Support other security related tasks as assigned by the Facility Security Manager
  •  Manage conference room calendars and offer support for meetings, schedule and set-up weekly, quarterly, and periodic virtual and in-person meetings, and prepare and distribute minutes and action items
  •  Order supplies and complete associated paperwork / ordering forms.
  •  Maintain property control, and company vehicle.
  •  Support planning and logistics for Executive, Company and Industry meetings and events
  •  Track and maintain critical assets including laptops, and tokens
  •  Maintains lock and key records and manages accountability of items
  •  Manage travel requests with travel company for Gemini senior leadership, as required, to include booking travel, printing boarding passes etc., rental car, hotel etc.
  •  Provide security escort duties, as required.
  •  Order and pick up lunch for special occasions or specific meetings.
  •  Identify and execute initiatives to promote company priorities, goals, and core values


The candidate must have the following qualifications:

  •  Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in security and administration including three years as a security professional supporting Department of Defense programs.
  •  Knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117, “National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)”
  •  Knowledge and experience with Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (e-QIP), and Army Contractor Automated Verification System (ACAVS), and the Defense Counterintelligence Security System.
  •  Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
  •  Highly skilled in oral & written communication and customer service & satisfaction
  •  Experience with Microsoft Office is highly desired.
  •  Experience with Microsoft SharePoint.

Travel:  Possible travel to Washington DC and Tampa, Florida areas
