Position:        Business Operations Manager

Location:       Fairfax, VA

Clearance:     TS/SCI

Education:     BA/BS Degree

Responsibilities:
The Business Operations Manager will support the Secretary of the Air Force - Concepts, Development, and Management Office (SAF/CDM).  The Business Operations Manager will provide day-to-day administrative tasks in support of the daily program office operations as well as will interact with lateral organizations and external agencies, as required, to accomplish the program mission. The position will also interface with personnel providing facilities management services, personnel management services, security services, computer support, public affairs support, and building management support to facilitate uninterrupted, day-to-day operations of CDM and related units.  Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Analysis of requirements, guidance, tracking, administration, quality control and assessment of response
  • Support and maintain the continuous development of knowledge management organization and online communities of practice
  • Manage internal communications regarding strategic and tactical changes in mission, team meeting schedules, agenda and due out listings
  • Receive, control, prioritize and manage all tasks which are internal and external to SAF/CDMCE requiring action or coordination submitted via NIPRNET or SIPRNET; closed out tasks
  • Process Non-CDM Mission Essential Access Requests via Confluence
  • Process Pentagon & ME815 Access.
  • Provide Human Resources support.
  • Update organizational charts, distribution lists, and recall rosters
  • Prepare and submit and monitor POM Initiatives. 
  • Monitor submitted Program Action Directives.
  • Prepare quarterly PGL and PAD status report.
  • Monitor Program Guidance Letter (PGL) for signature
  • Manage all tasks which internal and external to SAF/CDMCE requiring action or coordination submitted via NIPRNET or SIPRNET
  • Update organizational charts, distribution lists, and recall rosters

Qualifications:
The candidate must have the following qualifications:

  • Interest in and ability to leverage all available resources to create differentiated content for writing research reports (company-specific or industry).
  • Experience writing in a professional capacity (crafting research notes and correspondence; presentation and/or development of industry reports).
  • Solid understanding and expert knowledge of both project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment.
  • Ability to manage requirements, analysis, and assessment across multiple sub-portfolios.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and an eagerness to excel and be part of a dynamic team, must maintain a great attitude, complemented by excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Must have extensive PowerPoint experience.
  • Good verbal and written communications skills.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Experience providing administrative support, including functional expertise for office management.

Travel:  Minimal travel required
