Position:         Strategy, Plans, Exercises, and Policy Planner - Communication Synchronization

Location:        MacDill AFB, FL

Clearance:     TS/SCI

Education:     Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) I.


The Strategy, Plans, Exercises, and Policy Planner will support unique Joint Planning Team/Operational Planning Team (OPT) efforts and provide expertise on methodologies and processes for unifying communications efforts between USCENTCOM, subordinate commands, Joint Staff, and the Interagency.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide expertise on the integration of Communication plans, operations and assessments across the disciplines of Public Affairs, Information Operations, and Key Leader Engagement.
  • Provide senior onsite support to the development of Communication initiatives or strategies including themes, narratives, actions, activities, and key audience identification.
  • Coordinate with appropriate USCENTCOM directorates to align communication efforts in support of designated plans
  • Develop and deliver, as required, effective oral and written presentations, to include briefs to senior leaders, on topics within the scope of the task order.
  • Develop and update as needed Annex Y, Commander's Communication Strategy for CONPLAN s, OPLANs, and OPORDs



The candidate must have the following qualifications:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of planning experience in one information related area such as Public Affairs, Information Operations, Key Leader Engagements, or Civil Affairs.
  • Corporate Marketing experience is desired.


Travel: Travel required to AOR.
