Position: Strategic Planner
Location: MacDill AFB, FL
Education: A bachelor’s degree is required. Six years of relevant experience, or an associate degree and four years of relevant experience, may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. Graduate of Advanced Military Studies Program or equivalent Senior Service College is preferred.
The Strategic Planner performs specific planning requirements and collaborates with military and government personnel to accomplish tasks that support the long-range planning requirements of USCENTCOM. This includes providing technical recommendations to joint planning teams and working groups regarding the Joint Operational Planning Process, Joint Operational Planning, Execution System, Exercise/Training Planning, and Joint Doctrine.
