Position:         Security Manager

Location:        Burlington, MA

Clearance:      Secret

Education:     BA/BS degree preferred


The Security Manager will provide personnel and physical security services for the corporate office in Burlington, MA, and will serve as security manager/security point-of-contact for multiple contracts. Specific responsibilities include.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage and maintain security files and documents.
  • Receive, store, and send classified material.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing visitor control processes.
  • Conduct initial and refresher security training and briefings.
  • Conduct periodic self-inspections and audits.
  • Manage Contract Security Classification Specifications (DD Form 254) and prepare DD Form 254s for subcontracts.
  • Maintain, update, and implement the company’s Standard Practice Procedures (SPP).
  • Serve as the company point-of-contact with the Defense Security Service (DSS).
  • Maintain awareness of changes to security regulations and other security issues.
  • Additional duties that contribute directly to the team’s success.



The candidate must have the following qualifications:

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience as a security professional supporting Department of Defense programs which include 3-5 years of relevant security specialist experience.
  • Knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).
  • Experience with the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS), Defense Information System for Security (DISS), Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (e-QIP), and Army Contractor Automated Verification System (ACAVS).
  • Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.

The following qualifications are desired:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office is highly desired.
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Experience with Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC).
  • Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) experience
  • Facility Security Officer (FSO) experience
