Plans, develops, and administers the FOC employee benefit programs. Provides supervisory leadership and direction to benefit specialist in the administration of benefit programs. Also provides counsel and guidance to the Human Resources leaders, and to FOC associates. This position is the senior level within benefits.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
Experience: 7+ years’ experience in benefit plans administration. 3+ years of benefits software application experience.
Equivalent Experience: 11 years of professional level HR experience as outlined above.
License, Certifications, and/or Registrations: CBS or CBP designation preferred.
Specialized Skills: Demonstrated ability to operate automated systems including word processing, spreadsheet, database applications, and payroll/personnel system. Demonstrates a strong ability to communicate with a wide variety of staff at all levels, both verbally and in writing. Knowledge of benefit plan regulation (I.E. ERISA, ACA, FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, etc.) Strong presentation skills as well as strong analytical and problem solving capabilities.
