The i is an excellent opportunity for an emerging human rights work professional to develop hands-on experience in policy analysis and program administration in a very dynamic setting of multi-year, multi-partner projects. This ’s primary scope of work is to provide substantive input and analysis into new and ongoing programs in Turkey, the Caucasus, and Central Asia. This position will report to Senior Program Manager for Europe & Eurasia, and will work in close collaboration with project staff in DC and in the field. The success of the intern in this position heavily depends on their ability to self-organize and structure their work under deadlines and competing priorities.
This is a temporary internship for currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate students that will last for one semester, with a possible extension based on student’s performance and availability. This position requires a time commitment of a minimum of 30 hours per week, with a modest stipend as compensation. This is a remote location opportunity.
The deadline for fall semester applications is August 20, 2020. Candidates will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Interviews will take place throughout August, and the expected start date for this role is in early September, 2020.
