Description:

In the Corporate Recruiter role, you will learn to utilize your sourcing savvy, sales skills, business acumen, and networking abilities to identify and attract superior talent. You’ll work with management to draft job specifications, source and screen candidates, schedule interviews, formulate offers, and close deals all while contributing to a strong foundation and culture. As a member of the corporate recruiting team, you’ll carry a moderately heavy requisition load, and ensure the successful delivery of full-lifecycle recruiting support for our Trellis Energy & Blackstone Talent divisions.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Strategically source and hire candidates for technical hires and just-in-time hiring needs to meet client demands across practices
  • Build and maintain a strong network and candidate pipeline through cold calling, lead generation, online database mining, and social networking
  • Understand and summarize the candidate's key strengths, liabilities, and requirements
  • Most importantly, evaluate and screen for company and team fit while matching each candidate’s technical and behavioral traits
  • Review resumes, prescreen and educate candidates on the company and opportunities
  • Provide regular status reports to the SVP of Operations and ensure that candidate tracking is up-to-date and compliant with Blackstone processes
  • Contribute to the development of internal processes related to recruiting, and providing recruiting support to other Blackstone practices as needed
  • Assist in the development of recruiting strategies to support long-term practice growth

 

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years experience as an in-house corporate recruiter servicing the full-lifecycle needs of a growing organization. Mid-Sr. level candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Technical & Sales recruiting is required; experience with Energy and Talent industries preferred
  • 1+ years of staffing agency technical recruiting experience
  • Proven ability to employ a broad array of sourcing channels including referral programs, social networks, job boards, niche advertising, networking, recruiting events, and other creative means to promote and publicize our opportunities to both active and passive candidates
  • Commitment to results coupled with the ability to be patient and persistent during the inevitable times of frustration
  • Excellent communication skills, a proven ability to influence at all levels of an organization, and a “can-do” attitude are a must
  • Proven ability to quickly adapt, engage and excel in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing, high-growth environment
  • BA or BS degree preferred
