Outcomes:      The Integrated Border Security Analyst is expected to achieve the following outcomes:

·         Complete tasks assign prior to the date requested by Gemini supervisors and customer counterparts.

·         Deliver products and services that lead to an Exceptional rating in Government Contractor Performance Assessment Reports.

Responsibilities:

·         The position will provide a SMEs for IBS who will provide technical advice to assist partner nations develop a WMD counter proliferation strategy or course of action to enhance border security and prevent smuggling activities. The IBS Analyst will make recommendations on existing and new Interagency/International engagements related to expansion and implementation of specific instruments that increase security and decrease proliferation of WMD. They will also provide recommendations to Partner Nations for IBS plans and policy applications as well as the sequence and timing of key IBS events to exercises and recommend methods of evaluating the effectiveness of planning actions for bilateral and multilateral exercises.

·         The IBS Analyst will coordinate with Security Assistance Offices to ensure that CDP activities are integrated with and fully support U.S. Government Guidance and the USCENTCOM Theater Security Cooperation Plan. They will also integrate CDP activities by maintaining a continuous liaison with other HQ USCENTCOM staff offices and Service Component Commands

·         Also provides recommendations to Partner Nations in the areas of Border Security plans and policy applications as well as the sequence and timing of key events in support of all Joint Staff sponsored USCENTCOM executed exercises and recommends methods of evaluating the effectiveness of planning actions.

Qualifications:

·   Minimum of 5 years of experience.

·         Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university in a discipline applicable to the effort.

·         Expertise in the following areas either as a country lead or in support of a country lead: CWMD, CBRN Defense, CBRN Medical Countermeasures, and Consequence/Emergency Management for the CWMD Analyst and Customs or Border Security background for the Integrated Border Security Analyst.

·         Experience planning the sequence of key events and milestones for bilateral and multilateral CWMD and/or border security engagements and other security cooperation related events and integrate CWMD themes into major exercises.

·         Experience developing methods of evaluating partner CWMD capability and capacity

·         Experience with a range of Security Cooperation options available to remedy identified gaps.

Highly Desired:

·         Minimum of five (5) years of practical experience in the area relating to CWMD.

    Travel: As required to support the project.
